ILT is a community owned organisation based in Invercargill, that operates 23 diverse hospitality businesses, including accommodation, bars and restaurants, conference facilities, liquor stores, neighbourhood taverns and out-catering.
By using a combination of trading profit and income generated from gaming machines located in their various businesses, give back to the community through grants and donations, totalling more than $208 million since 1944.
Over recent years ILT has been able to return over $8 million to the local population of approximately 54,000. This funding supports community groups, fosters arts and culture, and provides scholarships in education, trades, arts, and sports. It also contributes to the amazing facilities and infrastructure across the city.
ILT exists mō tō tātou hapori (for our community) and they’re delighted to play a part in making a vibrant Invercargill for all who live in and visit their wonderful city.
ILT operates 23 businesses in the hospitality industry in Invercargill, including hotels, motels, restaurants, bars and retail liquor outlets, along with a motel in Dunedin and another in Christchurch.
